Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation provides financial assistance and education for supportive care to hospice patients and their families regardless of age, race, sex, diagnoses, religion, disability, national origin, or socioeconomic status. NCH Foundation strives to remove the financial barriers that would keep patients and their families from receiving hospice care.

The Foundation supports the community in other ways.

The Foundation has provided an in-school bereavement program in Cecil County since 1996. The loss does not need to have been through hospice. This is a community service program provided by the Foundation because we see a need in the community that we are uniquely situated to fill. There is no cost to the school or to the families.

Nursing scholarships are provided through Cecil College and Harford Community College. Public workshops on end-of-life issues are sponsored by the Foundation.

Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Donations are tax deductible.

NCH Foundation is a member of the Hospice & Palliative Care Network of Maryland and the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization. The Foundation is also proud to be a United Way agency.
